Frequently Asked Questions:

  • Individual sessions will be a fee of $180 per 45 to 50 minute therapy session. Sessions can be in-person or virtual.

Credit, cash, check, and online services (PayPal, Zelle, Venmo) or Square are all acceptable forms of payment.

I understand financial constraints; I offer a limited sliding scale fee. Contact me for more information.

  • In the beginning, it will help to see your therapist weekly. As you learn new skills and notice some improvements, you can space out the sessions to give you more time to implement them.

I appreciate that you may be looking for a definite answer, but because therapy is about diving in deeply and guiding you, one cannot apply a precise number. The answer varies depending on numerous factors. You can control whether you come to your appointments and how much work you put in each day to heal your concerns. You cannott control how easy you’ll find the journey or what happens in your life throughout therapy.

  • I do not take any insurance for services. I am considered an “out of network” provider. You are responsible for all payment of services up front on the day of session.

You may be eligible for out of network reimbursement with your insurance company. I will provide you a monthly statement of charges paid which you can submit to your insurance company. Your insurance company will send you a reimbursement check to cover the past service fees received.

Out of network: I do not have direct contact with or take payment from insurance companies. The amount to which your sessions will be covered varies based upon your out of network benefits and mental health coverage.

Questions to ask your insurance carrier about out of network benefits:

    • Do I have "Out-of-network" mental health insurance benefits?

    • What is my deductible and has it been met?

    • What is my "Co-insurance"?

    • How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?

    • What is the coverage amount per session?

    • Is approval required from my primary care doctor?

  • When not in office, I like browsing farmers markets, following recipes from social media, painting, fitness classes, and singing.

  • Phone calls should primarily be kept to mental health emergencies, and texts only for notification of lateness. All other communication is best via email.
